Apogee join Moog in criticising Trump tariffs
The US-based company says it may be forced to move manufacturing out of the US…
Apogee have joined Moog in criticising President Donald Trump's trade tariffs, specifically the 25% tax on electronic components from China introduced earlier this year.
The company – well known for their Duet and Ensemble audio interfaces – have asked users and fans to write a letter to their government representative, posting a sample letter on their website.
Earlier this summer, North Carolina-based synth legends Moog Music also criticised the tariffs that could force them to take their manufacturing out of the US, where they've been based since the 1950s.
