Just one year ago, Weekend Offender opened the doors of its London flagship store in Soho. It was a brave move and by way of celebration, they’re launching Category A, their first premium collection. Going some way to appeal to a ‘more mature customer base’, key garms from its 40-piece collection include a ‘thick-as-you-like’ duffle coat, camo parka and heavy coated cagoule. Our money’s on their puffa body warmer, with an embroidered panel of the Berlin Tube map in its lining.
Set up in 2004 by Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell, a couple of hipsters inspired and influenced by the acid house scene, club culture, films and music in general, it’s their party spirit that pushes them forward, and along the way they’ve scooped up loyal fans of the brand — none other than the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Jonathan Ross and Vas Blackwood.
