Cream Easter Special at Nation

Cream hosts its annual Easter mash-up

Words: Bianca Mitchell

Spring has almost sprung and Cream is back for 2010 with its legendary Easter Weekend Special. Once again it’s an undeniably exceptional line up. The party, held at Nation in Liverpool, the home of Cream, is set to reach breath-taking heights as the biggest names in house and electronic music gather for this unmissable grand opener.

Headlining the night is Eric Prydz, a name that needs little introduction. He returns to Cream after his sensational set at their 17th Birthday last year. Alongside him is Mark Knight of Toolroom Records, who was recently nominated for a Grammy for producing the Black Eyed Peas T.H.E. E.N.D album with Funkagenda. They will be joined in the main room by resident heroes Gareth Wyn, Andy Mac and Anthony Probyn.

The Courtyard is hosted by Size Matters, a collection of talent brought together by Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello. Alongside Steve is his younger brother and exciting new talent on the House music scene AN21, who will be making his Cream debut. Joining the brothers for this monumental occasion are Kim Fai, Rob Casson & Andy Currie – all set to bring you equally magnetic and energetic night-long sounds.

mUmU will be taking over the Annexe with their trademark array of quality live electronic, house and techno. They’ve hand picked special guests Dorian Paic of Cocoon, whose Raum…Musik has become one of the most influential house/techno labels in recent years. Joining him will be Miss Fitz (Mayaam Nidam), and.ID (live), Hector and Jemmy
