Stuart Patterson has been at the forefront of London's cutting-edge club scene for the last fifteen years. Through DJing, promoting club-nights, and programming the highly successful Shoreditch club East Village, where Stuart has been able to attract some of the most popular acts in dance music to the club including Chase & Status, Skream, Benga, Paul Woolford, Carl Craig, Goldie, Maya Jane Coles and many more acts.
Stuart has done a great mix ahead of the Acid Thunder party, which is being held at Trapeze in Hoxton. The party is in celebration of the second release of the compilation box set 'Terry Farley Presents Acid Thunder'. He is joined by Marshall Jefferson and his old Faith mucker Terry Farley ('Acid Thunder' Curator). The party is only a fiver before 11:30pm — we expect the place will be rocking.
This time around on 'Acid Thunder', the Farley-curated collection contains numerous tracks which have never been on compilations or available since their original release. As with ‘Acid Rain’, all tracks have been immaculately re-mastered and have never sounded better. The box set will be released on Harmless Records, check it out here
The mix itself is a selection of new and old tracks — a variety of house music styles, all of which can be traced back to the influential music featured on 'Acid Thunder'. Check it out below...
