It's all go at the Rainbow Venues in Birmingham.
April already witnessed this sprawling set of rave rooms bolted onto an old man's boozer in the heart of Digbeth celebrate 10 years, with some massive parties during Easter weekend.
Not a club known for sitting on its arse, this month it'll celebrate May Bank Holiday with a weekend event set within the same outdoor arena — that enormous courtyard beside viaducts — used for Circoloco In the Arena, this time hosted by M*A*D*E, a joint venture between Global Gathering and The Rainbow.
During the day on Saturday and Sunday, a festival-sized line-up is billed for the main stage, hosted by UKF, with the likes of Chase & Status, Sub Focus, Annie Mac, MK and Redlight, while house and garage grooves fill the Air Car Park stage, where Seedy Sonics and Tom Shorterz host the soundsystem respectively on each day.
On Saturday night, The Textiles Factory will be hosted by Spectrum, where more abrasive sounds from the likes of Feed Me and Jaguar Skills will get Brummie's club kids raving, while Sunday is all about house, when Steve Lawler's ViVA Warriors come to town with Mathias Tanzmann to take over The Street and FACE host Hot Since 82 and Bareskin at The Warehouse. Meanwhile, Mak & Pasteman join Tom Shorterz and Cause & Affect in The Garden.
Combined night and day tickets are available for either day, as well as separately and, on Friday, Digbeth Dining Club will host The British Street Food Awards in The Arena if you fancy some decent scran while you dance.
We've got a pair of tickets to both Day and Night events to give away to DJ Mag readers. Send the word MADE to firstname.lastname@example.org and await notification of your prize.
