First wave of acts announced

After successfully attracting hordes of Topshop Tarzans and leopard-leotard lasses to Port Lympne Animal Park last September, Zoo Project Festival returns for round two, this time in a Hidden Forest at Boughton House, Northamptonshire, on 30th August to 1st September.

Scene renegades Grandmaster Flash and MJ Cole join the cast of underground heroes announced as part of the first wave of acts, topped off by a UK festival exclusive of a back-to-back-to-back set between DJ Sneak, Derrick Carter and Mark Farina.

Jazzy trip hop don Bonobo is also on board, while Joy Orbison, Boddika, George Fitzgerald, Huxley, Midland and Jaymo & Andy George are just a few other names revealed so far, alongside all the usual monkey business in the form of breakdancing, capoeira, a giant human millipede, unicycling chimps, snake charmers and racing ostriches. You'd as daft as a dodo to miss it.
