Anjunabeats newcomer Jason Ross delivers a titan of a bigroom record here. Propelled with an extravagant stomp that explodes with rolling percussion and big, techy synth stabs, those grooves are just so polished. When the breakdown hits, it’s rueful emotion instead of overcooked melodrama, but of course that’s before the euphoric melodies detonate after the drop. It might come from the Anjuna camp, but this record is versatile enough to work for an array of main stage DJs. Stadium-strength ‘Trance 2.0’ doesn’t get any better than this.
