quest?onmarc will release their new EP, ‘ELEVATION (​?​5)’ this Friday, 5th November. 

The two-tracker follows the The New York-based DJ and producer’s ‘Phoenix’ EP on Club Chai from January this year, as well as a few edits and bootlegs shared on their Bandcamp over the past few months. 

Where ‘Phoenix’ was a futuristic collection of grime/Jersey club hybrids, ‘ELEVATION (​?​5)’ draws from a different pool of styles, and finds quest?onmarc looking further into UK dance music’s history for inspiration. ‘RINGS OF SATURN’ takes cues from classic dubstep with its frosty atmosphere, fluttering hi-hats and spaced-out beat. ‘ELEVEATION’, meanwhile, summons vintage UK rave euphoria with raw, frenzied breaks and soaring synth lead. Quest?onmarc has also been named as a new resident on Rinse France, and will play a two hour set on the second Wednesday of every month from 9pm CET.
