Avalon Emerson, Jayda G and Kode9 in collaboration with Japanese animator Kōji Morimoto are among the names locked for Simple Things festival 2019.
The multi-venue Bristol session is widely regarded as one of the UK's most cutting edge city festivals, with this year's line-up only set to cement that status.
DJ Mag interviewee Bruce, Andrew Weatherall, Laurel Halo and Dr Rubenstein are also confirmed. Holly Herndon will perform a special audiovisual show, no doubt featuring some of her work created through machine learning, while Mancunian post-punk legends A Certain Ratio play live.
This year's opening concert sees Los Angeles ambient composer William Basinski and artist-duo Evelina Domnitch and Dmitry Gelfand present the world premiere of a new work, '1000 Peacock Feathers In Foaming Acid', at Bristol's IMAX cinema. In total more than 40 acts have been confirmed.
Simple Things takes place from 17th to 19th September. More info here.
