I Hate Models makes his debut on Dax J's Monnom Black imprint this month with a four-track EP, featuring moody, twisted stomper, 'Last Kiss Before Death'.
Despite only dropping his first release in 2016, the enigmatic Frenchman has already secured a cult following through his blend of techno, EBM and rave.
Through modern underground anthems such as his 2016 Arts track 'Daydream', and 'Cyanure Dance' — released earlier this year on Khemia — I Hate Models has developed an instantly recognisable signature sound, contrasting tough percussion with airy, emotive synths, and sinister acidic touches.
His new 'State Of Control' EP for Monnom Black continues this trend with four heavyweight, genre-crossing tracks.
Pick of the bunch at DJ Mag is 'Last Kiss Before Death', a thrusting, EBM-esque hammer, scored by savage industrial synthwork.
Check out the track below and head to the Monnom Black Bandcamp to pick up a vinyl copy from tomorrow (15th September) or digital from 25th September.
