A new 1,500-capacity venue called Dock X is set to open soon in East London.
Situated in the heart of Surrey Quays, the 3,000 sqm venue will be operated by London-based events company Venue Lab, who also run nearby Printworks.
They describe the venue as "a brand-new standalone, multi-use venue," and add that the space has "ceiling heights of seven metres and large windows overlooking the waters of Surrey Quays." It will be used as a multi-purpose space hosting a range of events.
An exact opening date hasn't yet been announced, but when opened you can find the venue a short distance from Canada Water Station. For more information, click here.
London audiophile bar Spiritland recently launched a new venue at London's Southbank Centre, while Printworks recently announced that Solomun, Stephan Bodzin and more would play the club for its spring series.
