A new venue is set to open in London next month.

The team behind Queen of Hoxton, The Book Club and Brighton's Patterns club will open the new multi-purpose venue, Colours, in East London's Hoxton Square on the 13th September. 

In collaboration with London venues Village Underground and EartH, Colours' 300-capacity space will present a program of music, art and performance with live shows and club nights.

Some of the acts on the live program are already confirmed, with BBC Radio 1Xtra's RuthAnne slated to perform, alongside Ekkah and rising R&B talent Olivia Nelson. There will also be nights soundtracked by Pussy Palace, Naturalia and Lord of The Tings.

In addition to the music program, the venue will have a SuperCulture room hosting weekly events, including hip-hop yoga class Gyal Flex and LGBTQ+ sober mixers, and serve as a free space for collaborators to host their meetings, rehearsals and record podcasts.

Colours will also feature bespokse LED lighting designed by Burning Man festival lighting sculptor, Christopher Schard.

To celebrate the launch Colours will be offering customers 50% off on both food and drink on the opening weekend in September.

Last month, Kristina Records returned to East London with a new shop on Wall Street.

Earlier this year 10,000-capacity venue Depot opened in Manchester.
