Pendulum have teased that they are set to return in 2017 by posting a new video and website online, both under the name Pendulum Returns. You can watch the video below.
The 20-second clip features black and white footage of London spliced with the Pendulum logo, all cut to the soundtrack of a ticking clock.
Pendulum returned to the live sphere at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last year, where they invited Tom Morello of Audioslave and Deadmau5 on stage, but no new album ever followed 2010’s ‘Immersion’.
Rob Swire of Pendulum originally said that a follow-up would land in 2014, before he later stated on Reddit that they had become disillusioned with the project and would not be producing any new material.
It still hasn’t been confirmed if Pendulum’s 2017 return will include new music.
You can watch the video below, and sign up for updates on the Pendulum Returns website.
