Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo are officially reuniting as The Neptunes this year.
The production duo originally came together in 1994, with production credits on dozens of Billboard Hot 100 hits, and were named on tracks such as Mystikal's 'Shake Ya Ass', Diddy's self-titled 'D.I.D.D.Y', and 'I'm A Slave 4 U', the 2001 hit from Britney Spears.
Now, although Hugo and Williams have been working on solo material, Hugo revealed in an interview that The Neptunes are back together for 2020, and have listed artists they have been working with.
"We’re doing a couple of things," Hugo told Clash. "There’s a videogame soundtrack I’m doing [solo] that’s in the works right now that I can’t speak about, I’m not supposed to, but uh, it’s in the works right now. We just did some work with Blink 182, Lil Uzi Vert, Brandy, Ray-J, Snoh Alegra, G-Eazy…"
The artist also shared that Dua Lipa and Lil Nas X had both been "in the studio" with The Neptunes.

In 2018, Pharrell Williams threatened to sue Donald Trump after the hit single 'Happy' was used at a rally in Indiana before the US President took to the stage.
