Pierre Codarin first made his way onto DJ Mag’s radar when his productions started surfacing in the sets of Rolando, Raresh, Apollonia, tINI and more last year.
He launched his own PC series label in 2016 too, dropping tracks that combine a clear love of Detroit house and Chicago garage.
Codarin’s latest release, the ‘Telefunk’ EP, landed this week on Chris Carrier’s Adult Only Records, with three original tracks alongside a remix by the label boss and Dan Ghenacia.
For his Fresh Kicks mix, Codarin has turned in an hour of floor-focused grooves that demonstrate exactly why he’s won the love of underground house and techno’s most discerning selectors.
Speaking about the mix, he told DJ Mag, "I put together tracks I'm really feeling at the moment, featuring music from Oshana, Chris Carrier, Dana Ruh, Franck Roger, Seb Zito, Groove Chronicals and more, as well as two tracks from my ‘Telefunk’ EP.”
