Sónar has revealed that it will run events in Istanbul and Hong Kong in 2017, adding to the Spanish festival’s international calendar that already includes Reyjkavik and Stockholm.
The Istanbul event will run across two days and four stages at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center between Friday 24th and Saturday 25th March 2017. The Hong Kong festival runs shortly after on Saturday 1st April, but details of the venue has not currently been confirmed.
Sónar also announced that they have plans in the pipeline for a Latin American leg of the festival, which will take place in Santiago, Buenos Aires and Bogota, but no further details have been made available.
The festival’s Reyjavik event returns next year from Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th February, whilst Stockholm will run on Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April.
