SKRILLEX REVEALS JACK Ü HIATUS, DELETES POST
“Last Jack Ü festivals for a long, long time”
Skrillex has stated that Jack Ü’s recent stint of European dates would be the last for his Diplo collaboration for a “long, long time” in a post on Twitter, before promptly deleting the statement.
The full tweet, which you can see below, read, “Last Jack Ü festivals of 2016…and for a long, long time. Thank you for all the people who came out to support us.” It was replaced with a tweet that showed four images of their recent tour, which included the first ever Jack Ü shows in the UK.
Their run of performances included stops at Reading and Leeds Festival, where Skrillex and Diplo headlined the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage. You can hear a recording of their Reading set underneath the tweet below, which includes the likes of Rihanna, Drake and Kanye West.
This isn’t the first time the pair behind Jack Ü have made swiftly deleted revelations on social media, after Diplo teased new Jack Ü material would be “coming soon” in a tweet in May, that was also promptly removed.
