SoundCloud’s CFO has left the company to join radio platform TuneIn.
Having joined SoundCloud as a response to the launch of their Go service in 2016, Holly Lim is the latest in a long list of departures from the trouble streaming platform. CEO and co-founder Alex Ljung stepped down amidst a dramatic last-minute investment from Raine Group and Temasek after a mass redundancy.
It’s unclear how SoundCloud’s strategy will change given the recent departures and ownership shifts but with their CFO now gone, it’s assumed there’s a financial strategy shift on the horizon. We’ll report any announcements as they come in…
