Space Afrika's Joshua Inyang will contribute music to a new project by Manchester artists Danielle Swindells and Brit Seaton.
Dream FM sees the artist duo call upon the residents of Greater Manchester to contribute to their project by calling 0161 464 4975 and leaving a message answering the question, "What do you dream of?" The phone line will be open until 19th September.
When the line closes, Swindells and Seaton will combine residents' responses with Inyang's original soundtrack for an online broadcast in the style of a late-night talk radio show.
Leaving people to answer the question in whichever way they want, be it literally or in a more poetic style, Swindells and Seaton say that responses could include "personal aspirations and goals, visions for a better future or society, love stories and happy places, or strange dreams remembered long after waking up".
The finished project will debut online in October, and will air every evening that month. Find more information here.
Space Afrika's latest release, 'Honest Labour', is out this week on Dais Records, and is currently DJ Mag's album of the month.
The Manchester duo previewed the album with the unveiling of the track 'Rings' last month.
