The Mexican electronic music scene has never been healthier than it is now. Much of this is attributable to the success of festivals such as BPM, but a whole host of artists have begun to make their name on an international level recently too, with Climbers, Alex Rubio and Louie Fresco but a few of the names currently creating a stir.
Hyte Ibiza has now unveiled its full 2015 line-up, with 18 weeks of events at Ibiza’s Amnesia on Wednesdays.
Following well-received rave-ups in New York, Amsterdam, Barcelona and slightly more obscurely, Chile, Berlin-based brand Hyte is up for an all-new, eight-week residency at Amnesia. An entrepreneurial dance brand with a finger in many a pie, Hyte also run a stellar imprint out of their hometown in Berlin, building a loyal and far-reaching fan-base over the last few years.
For the fifth year in a row, Together returns to Amnesia for its weekly parties, with Defected In The House hosting the terrace.
Now that Miami is out of the way, all eyes are on the Ibiza season. The results in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll, powered by Miller Genuine Draft have shown us that Ibiza is back in prime position as the world’s ultimate clubbing destination.
One of the key factors behind this resurgence - besides the global popularity of dance music - is the fact that Ibiza has developed a willingness for change and evolution.
Chase & Status have just announced that they are to be weekly residents at Amnesia in Ibiza this summer.
