After its successful maiden voyage last summer, The Ark is set to return this summer with not one but two cruises and two suitably epic line-ups including Booka Shade, Loco Dice, Faithless, Nastia, Patrick Topping and more.

If you’ve never heard of The Ark, it’s a floating festival aboard a luxury cruise ship, Royal Caribbean International’s Vision of the Seas, which will set sail from Barcelona with stops in Sète, Ibiza, Mallorca and then back to Barcelona.

Spanish promoters Creaductions will be repurposing Barcelona’s Plaza de Toros Monumental this June during OFF week to throw a series of stellar parties.

From Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th June, the huge former bullring will host the likes of Kerri Chandler, Sasha & John Digweed, Theo Parrish, recent DJ Mag cover star Hunee b2b Palms Trax and Anja Schneider b2b Uner among many others during the festive week where numerous events are held across the city.

DGTL Barcelona has confirmed the talents that are set to provide the tunes 10th through 11th August at Parc Del Fòrum. Apollonia, Dax J, Jamie Jones and Honey Dijon are among the talents performing the fourth annual event.

Other techno artists include Oscar Mulero and the return of Rødhåd. Solomun and Maceo Plex will be laying down housier vibes. KiNK, DJ Tennis, Mind Against, Peggy Gou, Tijana T and Fatima Yamaha have also been confirmed.

The return of Brunch in the City after last year's sellout season takes place 11th March to 10th June 2018 in Barcelona, with Maya Jane Coles, Robert Hood, and many more international and local artists confirmed.

Included in the line-up so far is Larry Heard aka Mr. Fingers, Move D, Steffi, Apparat, Mr. G, Omar-S, Shanti Celeste and Lone.

DJ Mag have been invited to Elrow's incredible new office in Barcelona for an exclusive live stream party on Friday 17th November.

The office is equipped with all of the character features that have made Elrow one of dance music's most exciting club brands – most notably a massive statue of Rowgelia in the garden.

Dubfire has revealed he was an eye-witness to the tragic terror attack yesterday in Barcelona. The Iranian-American producer was riding his bike near Ramblas when he saw the intentional collision.

Despite still being in shock, Dubfire will continue with his planned performance tonight (18th August) at Barcelona’s The Light Off at Café Del Mar Boat Club. He has also pledged his performance fee to the victims and their families.

MDRNTY Cruise will make its maiden voyage across Mediterranean waters this summer.

The final acts set to play on-board during the four-day trip are now announced. Completing the line-up is Dixon, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Enzo Siragusa, Rolls 'N' Do (tINI & Bill Patrick), Magda and D'Julz, among others.

Adding to their already impressive line-up which features a Cocoon stage with Sven Väth, plus Ben Klock, Adriatique and Martin Buttrich playing. 

Barcelona festival Sónar finalise 2017 line-up with the last list of artists playing revealed. 

Rounding off the bill is a six-hour set from New York duo Masters at Work, known individually as Louie Vega and Kenny Dope. 

Sónar also adds Derrick Carter, Yves Tumor and Icelandic hip-hop artist Sturla Atlas, plus Sweedish DJs Kablam and Toxe.

Heidi has offered a fresh 63-minute mix to celebrate her forthcoming debut performance at Barcelona’s Sónar Festival.
