Helena Hauff is set to release a new EP in September.

‘Living With Ants’ is the DJ/producer’s first new material since her studio album ‘Qualm’, released via Ninja Tune in August last year.

The EP, which will be available on vinyl only, is a four-track package of driving, synth-heavy electro, and marks Hauff’s first full release on her own Return To Disorder label.

Nina Kraviz had 15 brand new, unreleased tracks cut to vinyl last weekend so she could play them at Time Warp.

Kraviz and the mighty Helena Hauff played a very special vinyl-only b2b at the German techno festival on Sunday morning and, to mark the occasion, the трип label founder had four dubplates of unreleased music made at Berlin’s Manmade Mastering. You can watch a video of the process below.

German techno festival Time Warp has revealed the line-up for its 25th anniversary edition this April, including a first-time b2b pairing of Nina Kraviz and Helena Hauff.

The festival will take place on April 6th at the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim, and will see regulars such as Ben Klock, Richie Hawtin, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Dixon and Laurent Garnier also join proceedings. 

Temperatures have plummeted but you can still get nice and sweaty, as the Top 15 UK club events in February 2019 show. 

Perspiration and education will both be on the cards in London, where Sebastian Mullaert brings his Circle of Live to Village Underground. Think spontaneous synth work with Mathew Jonson and Freerotation founders Steevio & Suzybee, probably in a circle. 

Tomorrowland has revealed the first batch of artists set to play its 2019 edition.

Having announced the festival’s stage hosts earlier this month, which allowed for at least some guess work as to who was playing, the massive Belgian event has now shared 15 names confirmed to play.

NOS Primavera Sound has locked Nina Kraviz, Peggy Gou, Helena Hauff and more for its eighth edition, which will be held at Parque da Cidade, Porto, Portugal from 6th to 8th June 2019. 

HAAi has won BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix of the Year 2018. 

The Australian-born, London-based player, who held a residency at Phonox for two years and runs the Coconut Beats label and party series, managed to emerge victorious from a shortlist including heavyweights such as Ricardo Villalobos, Avalon Emerson and Four Tet. 

The mix, which was originally broadcast in September, veers between off-kilter global house and curveball techno, and was aired for a second time on Friday 28th December. 

Hamburg club Golden Pudel, which has cemented the careers of names such former DJ Mag cover star Helena Hauff, has been given protected status as a “site of cultural worth”.

The first set of acts has been confirmed for next summer’s Melt! Festival, and, as ever, the line-up spans some of the finest names in electronic music.

Confirmed to play next year’s edition are Charlotte de Witte, Helena Hauff, The Black Madonna, Modeselektor, Ross From Friends, Four Tet, Mall Grab and Ellen Allien, amongst many others.

The festival will also host a number of non-electronic music acts such as Skepta, Jorja Smith and A$AP Rocky.
