The artist's debut EP dropped on the revered Scottish label Huntleys + Palmers back in 2013. An early sign of the innovation, musicality, and creative vision that would come to define SOPHIE's work, prices for the release skyrocketed on secondary marketplaces like Discogs after the artist died in January this year, aged just 34.

A mural of SOPHIE has been unveiled at Liverpool venue 24 Kitchen Street.
Taking over a wall at the music venue, the mural depicts the late artist wearing long red gloves and a pink shawl. It was created by local artist A Cullen after the venue shared a callout with for a trans/non-binary artist to commemorate the PC Music mainstay, in collaboration with Homotopia.

Miami bass duo Que Linda and Caro Loka, AKA Basside, will drop their new EP 'Fuck It Up' next month, which has been produced by the late experimental pop visionary, SOPHIE.
