Bristol experimental pop group Poisonous Birds have invited an array of artists to remix their 2020 EP, ‘We Can Never Not Be All Of Us’.
The group released their EP in August 2020, and have now enlisted artists including Loraine James, ASTRYD, Fever 103° and Delay Grounds to put their own spin on the tracklist, which fused elements of art rock, pop and techno into a maximalist, emotional collection.
Bristol label Pressure Dome will release its third charity compilation this week, raising funds for the local Community Care Package initiative, which has been providing fresh fruit and vegetables to those who can’t afford it during the pandemic.

Bristol’s Noods Radio has launched a membership scheme.
The team behind Noods Radio, an independent station broadcasting from Bristol's Stokes Croft founded back in 2015, have launched a new membership scheme dubbed Noods Luvers to support the station and keep it on the airwaves.
Previously reliant on merch and crowdfunding, alongside events which have been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, Noods are asking listeners to donate as little as £3 per month to the station to "cover our bills, create more creative opportunities and keep supporting artists."

An investigation has been launched after a woman was attacked by a police dog at an illegal rave last month.
On Halloween, a number of illegal parties were stopped across the UK, including an event where 700 people had gathered at a Bristol warehouse rave that began around 10:30PM Saturday night and continued through to Sunday afternoon, 1st November.
A 1,000-person rave in East London was closed down by police during Halloween weekend according to East London Advertiser, just one of several raids to take place at events in the capital that breached coronavirus regulations.
Bristol has a new radio station, SWU.FM.
Focused on electronic music, the station has been in the works for a couple of years and previously ran test transmissions before now going official on Bristol's local FM airwaves as well as online. Locals in Bristol can tune in at 103.7 FM, while those further afield can listen via the worldwide online stream.
Bristol producer Delay Grounds will make his solo debut on YUSHH’s Pressure Dome label in October with the ‘Onomatopoeia’ EP.
Having debuted on the label in July on its second charity compilation, the emerging producer steps up now with three cuts of futuristic UK techno, full of animated electronics, percussive beats and bass weight. Capped with a remix from fellow Bristol producer Suze, it’s a thrilling introduction to yet more young talent from a city that’s full of it.
