New 300-capacity warehouse club, Signal, to open in Sheffield
Sheffield is gaining a new club in the form of 300-capacity warehouse space, Signal.
After a trial period during the last few months in 2019, the promoters behind Signal have obtained a permanent license, and will launch their 2020 event series later this month.
Kicking off on the 31st January, Signal team up with Syko Disko to present two of Glasgow's finest, Jasper James and Big Miz, before La Rumba bring Kornél Kovács and Wow & Flutter to Sheffield the following weekend.
London club The Cause to remain open at its current location
North London club The Cause will remain open at its current premises indefinitely.
Initially opening with the aim of raising £25,000 for charity partners Mind in Haringey, C.A.L.M. and Help Musicians UK, the venue surpassed their target and have since raised over £50,000 for the charities and beyond.
1000-capacity warehouse club to open in the UK this weekend
A new, 1,000-capacity club space will open its doors next weekend.
Located in Stoke-On-Trent, the new club, District 3, is located in the city's Spode Works, alongside China Hall.
On Saturday 30th November, District 3 will host Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, alongside Darius Syrossian, Manu Gonzalez, Pete Bromley and Matt Erst, a resident from promoters The Move, who are the team behind the new venue.

London club FOLD to reopen following licence suspension
London club FOLD has been granted permission to reopen.
The east London venue had its licence suspended earlier this week by Newham Council, who cited an ongoing fraud investigation "relating to approximately £200,000 worth of material” in the club.

London club FOLD has had its licence unexpectedly suspended by Newham Council.
In a post shared to Instagram this morning, the east London venue stated that its “license has been suspended and an immediate shut down of the club, without fair trial, has been imposed”.
FOLD are in the process of appealing the suspension, and hope to maintain operation this weekend, and for all future planned events,
A new venue is opening in East London, Space289
A new venue is opening this month in East London.
Located in Cambridge Heath, the 220-capacity Space289 aims to shine a spotlight and showcase the UK's diverse music scene.
The venue have said they hope to create a space where "established promoters take musical risks and new promoters have a space to cultivate ideas and grow", and will launch with a Body Hammer party on the 16th November.
New club Tresor.West to open in a historic factory building at the end of the year
Last week, Tresor owner Dmitri Hegemann teased details of a new club opening in a basement space in his birth region of Westphalia, northwestern Germany.
Now, the founder has revealed more details about the new venue, tentatively named Tresor.West, including its location in Dortmund.

Loft Club to close in 2020 after 30-years
After 30 years, Loft Club is set to close next year.
Following in the footsteps of Milan's Dude Club, London's Hangar, Dublin's Bernard Shaw and Amsterdam's Claire, among several others, the Ludwigshafen venue will shut its doors for the last time on 31st October 2020.
Tresor's owner to open new club in Germany
The owner of legendary German techno club Tresor is set to open a new club.
Dimitri Hegemann will launch a new, as-of-yet unnamed club in a basement space in his birth region of Westphalia in northwestern Germany.
Posting via his Facebook page, Hegemann spoke about his plans for the "raw basement" club and how it would boast an "excellent soundsystem and effective acoustic treatment".
