Pioneer’s KUVO system is intended to make set-lists and track info-sharing a really easy prospect for clubs and DJs, wrapped up in a rather tasty online social network which can be followed by the online global clubbing community.

Of all the surprising occurrences in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll, one really stood out. Last week, our researchers alerted us to a mysterious club which received a flurry of late votes.

But it wasn’t the voting pattern that aroused our interest. Aqua, based in the scuba diving hotspot of Egypt, has a very unique selling point - it is the world’s first underwater club!

The madness kicks off this Thursday 26^th March with DJs Carnage and Asoc, who’ve drafted in their favourite big room pals including Dutch house don, Chuckie and Australian duo, Nervo.

Zouk has more history and heritage than most clubs in existence today. A destination venue for all serious clubbers, it's been in operation since 1991 and is a bedazzling complex comprising four discrete clubs: Zouk, Phuture, Velvet Underground –—Dance and Velvet Underground — Lounge, and a wine bar to boot. 


OFF recordings' and Faceless Recordings co-boss Barber will be joining us at one of the most anticipated events of the year so far, our very own DJ Mag Sessions Weekend at Egg on 20th/21st February. 

Barber will be billed alongside Venezuelan Crosstown Rebels' duo Fur Coat in the Basement on Friday, while New Jersey legend Kerri Chandler is set to headline the Egg Terrace with an extended set and support from Madtech proteges Voyeur.

As New Jersey house music continues to undergo a resurgence in the UK, a new alternative manifestation of the sound is rapidly becoming a sensation stateside. This year, a genre known as 'Jersey club' — not to be confused with the original house sound associated with the state — has enjoyed an incredible rise in popularity. Worlds apart from Snooki and spray tans, Jersey club has been tearing apart dancefloors with its pounding bass, drum kicks and chopped-up R&B vocals. 

Manchester club night Kaluki are set to make their fabric London debut this month. The forward-thinking party promoters, who are fresh from a season in Ibiza throwing parties on the Space Terrace and We Love… Sunset Terrace.

They take over fabric’s intimate 3rd room on November 15th with Canadian techno don and Music On resident, Nathan Barato (pictured above). The deep techno luminary will be joined by Richy Ahmed, Pirate Copy and Pete Zorba.
