KMRU will release a new album, ‘Logue’, in May via Injazero Records. 

Unsound will release its ‘Intermission’ book and compilation this week, featuring new music from SOPHIE & Jlin, Varg2™ & VTSS, 33EMYBW, Slikback and many more. 

Last year, amid the coronavirus pandemic, the 18th edition of Poland's Unsound festival, which is usually held in Kraków, moved online with Unsound Intermission, presenting an array of immersive content, music, talks and visual art across 11 days.

Ahead of the posthumous release of Pauline Anna Strom’s album ‘Angel Tears in Sunlight’, RVNG Intl has shared a video for ‘Equatorial Sunrise’. 

‘Angel Tears In Sunlight’, the blind Bay Area composer and synth pioneer’s first album in 30 years, was announced in October, two months before the sad news of her passing was shared in December. The album will be released on 19th February. 

LCY has dropped her first official single, ‘Garden of E10’, via her own SZNS7N label - with accompanying visuals directed by the artist herself. Check it out below. 

Laying the foundation for a forthcoming project in the works for next year, ‘Garden of E10’ is a ghostly metallic and bassy cut with warped vocals and textured percussion.

Bay Area synthesist and composer Pauline Anna Strom has died at the age of 74.

The news was confirmed yesterday by her record label RVNG Intl, who wrote: “Heartbroken to say goodbye to Paula so suddenly. At least now at one with a world beyond ours to which she was connected.”
