The podcast, entitled Ecstasy: The Battle of Rave, will be online from the 11th September, and will present a deep dive into the emergence of rave and ecstasy into the UK in the late '80s and '90s, through factual and dramatised episodes.

It's reported that police were called out to various events in London, Leeds, and elsewhere, where fines up to £10,000 were issued. In Norfolk, bottles and cans were thrown at police sent to seize equipment and nix the event.

The Haçienda is taking over London's Tobacco Dock on Easter weekend next year.
Spread across the sprawling labyrinth of Tobacco Dock, legendary Manchester nightclub The Haçienda and LWE will host an all-day party on Good Friday, 2nd April.
Featuring three popular nights from the club, Nude, Hot, and Flesh, each event will host respective rooms. The full line-ups and set times are set to be revealed in the coming months.

An unlicensed boat party on New York’s Lower East Side was shut down in the early hours of Sunday morning, 2nd August.
Shortly after 1 AM on Sunday morning the Liberty Belle party boat set off from its dock at Pier 36 in Lower Manhattan. Over 170 guests are estimated to have been aboard the boat, which can normally hold up to 600.
