Police shut down 200-person rave in Leeds nature reserve
West Yorkshire Police shut down an illegal rave of roughly 200 people at the Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve in Leeds on Monday night.
Visitors reportedly waded through the River Aire shortly after 7pm on Monday night. Police were called to the scene and three arrests were made as a sound system and DJ equipment was confiscated.

An illegal rave was shut down by West Mercia Police in Telford, Shropshire on Saturday (16th May).
A group of around 70 people flouted lockdown regulations to gather in Granville Country Park on Saturday evening. Police arrived shortly after 8pm and dispersed the crowd, who had a sound system and DJ equipment set up on site.

Classic ‘90s rave novel by Rainald Goetz to be published in English for the first time
Rave, a 1998 novel by German author Rainald Goetz, is set to be released in English for the first time this year.
The novel has been translated by Adrian Nathan West and will be published in July by Fitzcarraldo Editions, who describe it as “a fragmentary novel that attempts to capture the feel of debauchery from within”.

The stream will be hosted on the Facebook page of Scottish festival, The Ultimate 90’s Rave, which was originally set to take place this weekend but was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Launched by Radosław Tereszczuk, Artur Wojtczak and Łukasz Krajewski, three key members of Poland's techno scene, a crowdfunder has been set up to raise money to publish '30 Years Of The Polish Techno Scene' - the very first anthology of techno and the electronic music scene in Poland.
Not just limited to techno, the book contains more than 700 pages, and is filled with photos and stories from those involved in the techno, house, and drum & bass scenes in Poland, past and present.
