Fantazia co-founder, Gideon Dawson, death ruled as drug related
An inquest has ruled the death of Fantazia co-founder Gideon Dawson as drug related.
The rave promoter is thought to have succumbed to health complications stemming from a 'cocktail of drugs', including morphine which he was prescribed after breaking a number of ribs.
He was found dead in his Cheltenham, UK home on 14th April 2019, aged 51.

There’s a four-day techno marathon happening in Berlin next weekend
Berlin techno collective SYNOID will throw a four-day rave next weekend.
The SYNOID weekender will be held at Griessmuehle, one of Berlin's beloved music venues in the Neukölln district.
The party will run from 19th July to 22nd July, with music from Rebekah, Regal and Clouds.
SYNOID have welcomed the likes of I Hate Models, Kobosil, Lucy, Marcel Fengler and Truncate to previous events, at venues such as Berlin's Tresor and Closer club in Milan.
Illegal rave in Norfolk takes police 20 hours to shut down
Police were called to shut down an illegal rave in Norfolk last Saturday (6th July).
The call was made by a member of the public at 7:30pm on Saturday, after an event page for the rave was advertised on Facebook.
Despite the call being made on Saturday evening, Norfolk Constabulary did not arrive at the rave until Sunday at 3:45pm, when the party was shut down.
There were around 600 people present at the rave, which was in the Massingham Heath area of Kings Lynn in Norfolk, and specially-trained support teams arrived to seize equipment.

In a video posted by The Prodigy's official Twitter account, a hooded figure can be seen spray painting the rave-punk collective's famous ant symbol beside the numbers 1994, the year of the album's release.

Comprising art, audiovisual installations, photography and more, Sweet Harmony: Rave | Today will present "an immersive retrospective exhibition devoted to presenting a revolutionary survey of rave culture through the voices and lenses of those who experienced it." It runs at the Chelsea contemporary art gallery from 12th July to 14th September.

Produced by Steven Soderbergh and directed by Brian Welsh (whose previous credits include 'Black Mirror'), the film is set in Scotland during the summer of 1994 and follows a pair of friends as they get to grips with the free party scene of the time before they separate as adulthood awaits.
