Ravers treated for hypothermia at French hardcore event
30 ravers had to be treated for hypothermia this past weekend at France’s Teknival festival.
Taking place in Creuse, the free and unauthorised hardcore/hardstyle festival was attended by over 10,000 ravers for its annual French edition from 4th - 5th May. However, unexpected snowfall saw temperatures plummet to -3 degrees Celsius on Saturday night, leaving ravers at risk.

Set for San Francisco's Midway on 22nd March, the event - which will raise for for his theme camp, Playground, at Burning Man - will feature Cox, Joseph Capriati, Pleasurekraft and "many more to be announced". The event will be Cox's first U.S. show of 2019.
Cox founded Playground Camp as "a way to celebrate all that Burning Man is, and as a way to give back to a culture that he loves."
There’s a rave in a slaughterhouse on Christmas day in Sweden
A rave will take place in a slaughterhouse just south of Swedish capital Stockholm on Christmas Day.
Hosted by Swedish house producer Jeremy Olander, Vivrant - which is named after's Olanders' imprint - will take place at the 1000-capacity venue Slaktkyrkan (aka "The Slaughterchuch", a space that has a history of over 100 years of commerical animal slaughter).

Rave Archive is a dedicated online hub that catalogues a host of mixtapes and zines created during the decade.
Originally launched back in 2007, the resource "strives to bring you the best in '90s Rave nostalgia." The minds behind the website continued, "We have always approached it as both ravers and archivists making sure to save what was largely an ephemeral culture."

Illegal raves are on the rise in the UK, says new report
Illegal raves are on the rise in the UK, according to a new report.
According to Sky News, there were 682 reports of illegal raves and unlicensed music events recorded in the UK 2017, an increase of 9% from the previous year’s 628.
These figures were gathered from FOI responses from a mere 14 police forces from England and Wales, suggesting that the actual numbered of illegal raves reported across the UK is considerably larger.
