SUBB-AN TO MIX REBEL RAVE 3

Last week we told you that Crosstown Rebels were embarking on a world tour.

In light of this Crosstown Rebels are set to release their latest instalment in the 'Rebel Rave' series. 'Rebel Rave 3' mixed by Subb-an is due on Tuesday 19^th March and marks the tenth anniversary of Crosstown Rebels.

HAPPY MONDAYS RETURN TO LONDON

Following their acclaimed two night residency at London's Roundhouse last December, the Happy Mondays have announced a return to the capital for a one off performance at The Forum, Kentish Town on Saturday 29^th June.

In 2012 the 'Madchester' band announced their return to the live stage with the full original line up, the first time in 19 years.

RANT N' RAVE

Don't get DJ Mag wrong, there's been a long tradition of the remix as a credibility boost in the music industry. Back in the day, from the late '80s and the first crossover of house music onwards, dire popstrels of the ilk of Simply Red and the Spice Girls (or rather their record companies) would be queuing up for a taste of authentic dance flavour, getting cool names to remix their tracks in order to boost sales of 12”s.

Livid Loops!

From Brisbane, Australia and loved by cats such as Erol Alkan and Boys Noize, Loops Of Fury have been causing a commotion with their peak-time electro/techno/rave hybrid over the last couple of years. Signed to U&A Recordings, the guys are school pals who both discovered electronic music at around the same time in ‘93/’94 — “early Prodigy, Chems, hardcore and jungle”.
