DJ Mag has announced the line-up for this year's Best of British awards party.

Jaguar is launching a new dance music podcast, 'UTOPIA Talks'.

Jaguar has launched a new training programme for women and gender minority students entering the music industry. 

A free initiative, Future1000 will see the BBC Radio 1 DJ offer 1,000 under-18s training and up-skilling in production, mixing and more. The scheme is run with in-school music educational platform FutureDJs, which was previously successful in getting DJing added to the UK curriculum. 

Jamz Supernova, NAINA and Jaguar will take part in a DJ Mag live workshop on Instagram next week.

On Tuesday next week (13th), BBC Radio 1Xtra and Selector Radio resident Jamz Supernova, Brixton's Apple Music and Reprezent presenter NAINA, and BBC Introducing's Jaguar, will join DJ Mag's features editor Lauren Martin in an Instagram Live Room to talk all things broadcasting.

A new festival celebrating Black culture from around the world will take place in London this summer. 

Yam Carnival will take place on Clapham Common on 28th August, and features a stacked line-up of artists from across the globe, bringing the sounds of Afrobeats, hip-hop, house, gqom, Afro-swing, R&B and more to three stages. 

BBC Radio 1 have announced a 24-hour dance music stream.

Launching next month, on Friday 9th October at 6PM, the BBC Radio 1 Dance dedicated dance stream will bring together the station's dance programmes, and marks the BBC’s first 24-hour stream on the BBC Sounds app.
