Klein announces new album, ‘Harmattan’ on classical music label, PENTATONE
Klein has shared details of a new album, titled 'Harmattan'.
Taking its name from the West African season, the album will be released via classical music label PENTATONE, and sees Klein fuse classical music with grime, R&B, improvisational jazz and drone music. It follows on from last year's 'Frozen' LP and 2019's 'Lifetime', which DJ Mag named as one of its albums of the year.
Klein's vocals feature across the record, while Charlotte Church also contributes vocals to one track, 'skyfall'.
Nazar's debut Hyperdub album is inspired by his family's experience of civil war: Listen
Nazar will return to Hyperdub for the release of his debut album next year.
Titled 'Guerilla', the album sees the Manchester-based producer draw on his family's experiences of the Angolan Civil War. Using a kuduro framework, Nazar looks, a press release says, to "sensitively examine and digitalize his family's collective memory and country's past," with his father having been a rebel general in the country who published a wartime journal, called 'Memorias de Um Guerrilheiro', in 2006.

The South London musician's latest project, 'Lifetime', follows her 'Tommy' EP for London label Hyperdub and the self-released 'cc', and she describes the 18-month writing process behind the album as the equivalent of "giving someone your diary."

MODERNA
Growing up in a small Utah town with “a side of conservative Mormonism”, the now Berlin-based Moderna soon discovered music was a way out. After playing in a noise band using proper analogue gear, she naturally progressed to experimental electronic sounds and now produces her own raw fusions of acid, techno and electro.

ROZA TERENZI
Roza Terenzi is the latest Australian artist to be building a name here in Europe. She hails from the beautiful beaches of Western Australia and as long as she can remember was hanging out in her dad’s home studio. These days she’s a self-confessed raver who spends as much time as possible on the dance oor, and that comes over in her productions. “I’ll either set out to make something more euphoric and uplifting, or something darker and more twisted,” she says.
